Meet Joelle!

When she was born she had five different birth defects: club feet, dislocated left hip, kyphosis, a deformed L-3 vertebrae and tethered cord syndrome, which is a form of spin bifida.

She underwent seven operations in the first two years of her life. Her doctors weren’t sure she’d ever walk unassisted, but shortly after her 2nd birthday she started walking!

Joelle is 9-years-old now and is in the 4th grade. She excels in school and always brings home all A’s. She likes modeling, playing Minecraft, legos and dance.

Whatever life hands her, she’ll handle with the same great attitude she has now!

Joelle and her family are packing for Disney!
