Meet Luke!

In most ways, Luke is your typical 8 year old boy.  He is in the third grade at Salk Elementary School in Fraser. He likes learning about things that happened in history and doing science experiments.  He is a cub scout and belongs to the Save The Animals Club at school.  He loves to read the Michigan Chillers books by Jonathan Rand and the Goosebumps books by R L Stine.  He loves all things about disasters especially the I Survived series of books by Lauren Tarshis and all disaster movies like Sharknado and Jurassic Park. Luke is fascinated by magic tricks but wishes they were really magic instead of just tricks.  His love of magic is why he wants to be a “circus actor” when he grows up (either that or in a band, he can’t decide).  He loves to play video games and board games. In the summer he lives in the neighborhood pool and will only come out when it is time to eat.  He likes to help cook and comes up with his own recipes for things.  He also likes going to church and listening to Bible stories.  Most of all Luke likes spending time with his family. He loves his big sister and looks up to her. In turn,  he looks out for his younger cousin and prefers to call him his little brother. Luke  has more than his share of frustrations and struggles but that doesn’t stop him. He is a very loving and funny little guy!
