Meet Tanae!

Ms. Tanae is 14 , she is very active , shes always been in adaptive sports, cheerleading, martial arts, involved in church, and just loves and wants to be with friends and family. She loves going to the mall with a friend she follows and being independant.Tanae has dreams and plans of traveling, but i could never afford it. Tanae loves social media and you tube, shes a big fan of Domo and Crissy, Derek Killdall, and many more..She is obsessed with her favorite actor and singer Sabrina Carpentar, when Tanae is feeling down she turns to Sabrinas music and #1 show Girl meets World. And is a big fan of Harley Quinn.  She has struggled with anxiety and depression through the years, of being accepted in society.  Tanae is a very loving girl and is doing pretty well in school , she was mainstreamed in headstart to general ed classroom, although she has struggled she has overcome so many obstacles. I always tell people to never underestimate her and never let her wheelchair fool you, she is and average opinionated 14 year old girl. So Tanae was born premature at 27 weeks gestation ,weighing 1 pound 11 oz, she developed hydrocephalus in week 1, and overcome all risks and was discharged 52 days later at 3 pounds . Tanae was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegia Cerebral Palsy , she has use of all bodily functions, she has  physical delay, lacks core strength and control, so she has to have full assistance with dressing, transfering And some feeding. She needs help with fine motor skills as well, Tanae has been in and out of physical therapy all her life, we have tried all different types and levels of therapy to gain more range and strength.. Tanae has been a trooper and never complains a bit. She was my miracle and I love her more than anything
